A Program Uniquely Suited for Each Stage
Primary Grades (kindergarten through second)
During these early grades, our focus is really on fostering a love of learning. Kids come to us so excited about the world around them, and we help them channel that excitement into becoming problem seekers and problem solvers. Our focus during these grades is to lay a strong foundation and help them evolve their future-ready skills such as skills such as creativity, communication, critical thinking, and collaboration. We work with the students to develop a strong sense of grit, empathy, and curiosity. We give them spaces to direct their learning based on their interests while also working with them to think like a mathematician and become strong readers. Our small class sizes ensure that all students are loved as individuals and their needs are met.
Intermediate Grades (third through fifth)
Students in these middle grades have all developed and grown at different paces and have vastly different needs. Some are ready for more autonomy while others needs significant scaffolding and support. Some are ready to be challenged while others have gaps that have been revealed. Our small class sizes allow us to work with all of the students, at their own level, to hone their internal motivation for learning while supporting and challenging them to maximize growth, both academically and social-emotionally.
Middle School (sixth through eighth)
Middle schoolers undergo a significant transition between elementary school and high school, each navigating this stage at a different pace. As we build out middle school, we are creating a program specifically for the unique needs of this age. We foster their independence through overnight field work and more autonomy in their learning while also working with them on project management, time management, study skills, and personal organization. We help them to explore their personal identities through choice in their learning and a structured social-emotional program. Our small classes ensure that students don't get lost during this key developmental stage, and they are fully prepared for high school.
Note: During the 2021-2022 school year, Einstein Academy is engaging learners in grades K-6 with a plan to add a grade each year through eighth grade in the 2023-2024 school year.
